Breeze2 Test Strips

The Contour Meter

The CONTOUR™ uses the Contour test strips. It is fast and produces accurate results from a very small drop of blood and gives you an alternative system for managing your diabetes.

The Contour does not need coding before use, making it easier to obtain an accurate reading every time. It uses a very, very small blood sample - only 0.6 microlitres, making testing gentle and allowing blood to be taken from alternative sites of the body, taking the strain off the fingertips.

Its large screen display gives very clear readings and the meter takes just 5 seconds to give a result.

The Contour test strips are easy to handle, fully touchable and sip-in the exact amount of sample. Each strip automatically codes the meter when inserted and a large memory automatically stores up to 480 test results showing dates and times

The Contour comes in a kit with a carrying case, Microlet Finger pricker and 25 test strips and 25 Microlet Lancets to get you started.

Results from the Contour can be downloaded to a PC using the  WinGlucofacts analysis software - obtainable free of charge from www.bayerdiabetes.co.uk

Ascensia Elite Sensors

Ascensia Elite strips are usually only used in the UK by hospitals and clinics. But the Elite meter is on sale in many parts of the world and we offer a service to those people visiting from abroad who would like to continue using their Elite during their stay in the UK. We are probably the only place in the UK offering this service.

The Microlet2 Lancing Device

The Bayer Microlet2  Lancing Device is adjustable and helps to reduce the pain associated with pricking the fingers by being fully adjustable. Different types of skin require different lancing depths in order to obtain a   
sufficient blood sample. Rotating the end cap varies the depth the needle punctures the skin. The unique device cuts down on rebound and so reduces pain .

Microlet Lancets are usually available on NHS prescription  from your GP. However, if you are unable to obtain the lancets your prefer or if for some reason you are not eligible for NHS prescription or require the lancets for a pet the we can supply them in packs of 200

The Bayer record diary is a twelve month diary which is much sort after by people who have used it in the past.
